The piece hangs elegantly on a sterling silver curb chain. This collection was inspired by a small button with a cross like design, discovered at the prehistoric site known as Mine Howe, in Tankerness, a few miles from Sheilas Orkney home and workshop. Mine Howe is a man made chamber, dug deep inside a large mound, with 29 steps leading to a rock floor.
